I just awoke from a vivid dream. In it a student was taking art lessons and at the end of the lessons her work would be displayed. Initially, she was the only student, but others came and for the other students it became a contest. But the initial student remained steadfast in learning art and doing her best.
I asked God what all that meant. The student was any one of Gods children. The work of art was the student’s life and Gods plan for the student.
he other students were people she met along the way wanting to compete with her and beat her. This was the enemy (Satan) using others to destroy the masterpiece (her life.) Fear drove her to undermine her own work.
The enemy (Satan) will do all he can to keep you from fulfilling the purpose God has for you. Satan uses lies like “you aren’t good enough” or creates fear in you to keep you from fulfilling God’s purpose for you. He may have you addicted to alcohol or drugs. But Christ Jesus delivered us from those things.
In the end God’s plan for her life was complete and beautiful. She will be rewarded at the Judgement Seat of Christ:
2 Corinthians 5:10 New American Standard Bible 1995 “10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for [a]his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”
God wants the best for you John 10:10 (NASB) “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Jeremiah 29:11 (NASB) “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”
